:: The Journey Continues... ::

Believe it or not, I'm still working on the vessel/pouch, even putting in a 12 hour day once this week.  It's not because it's an elaborate piece, but rather because I've spent all the time with the construction and surface treatment of the leather.  The hand stitching has been especially time consuming.  Right now it is finished and only needs a bit of adornment. It's been a very interesting and enjoyable project and I want to keep making more larger bags...although I dislike the word "bag" and have been defaulting to vessel.

So I hope to list this one this weekend.  It's made of neutral brown deerhide, accented with my own earth pigments and lined with a soft linen-cotton blend fabric, with a strap of gorgoeus olive green tie-died silk.
