This necklace is the 2000th inventoried piece I’ve made! Amazing to think that…and every one has been unique and one of a kind. I have all of you to thank for supporting my work so warmly over the years, and don’t worry—I don’t plan on stopping soon. Actually, I’ve made far more than 2000 pieces because I was making jewelry off-and-on for many years prior to opening my shops. And there have been other odd pieces for myself or gifts which never made it into the inventory list.
Even though I’ve been slowing down on the jewelry because of other projects, I’ll continue to make it for the foreseeable future, because I love doing it. Painting, drawing and writing have all found their way back into my life so there will be times when I focus on them, and then there will be times like these when I focus on jewelry. I will be doing more fabrication and stone setting but on a limited basis: while I have plenty of cabs to set, it’s a very toxic process and I’ve been trying to limit toxins in my life—on all levels!
